We are located within the heart of the Point waterfront Development, giving you easy access to various activities.

  • Access to beautiful, world class Blue flag swimming beaches within walking distance of the apartment.
  • Two bicycles available to use at no extra cost for riding along the canals or along the beach promenade which extends from the Harbor wall all the way up to toward North Beach ending at the Blue Lagoon.
  • A beautiful and refreshing walk along the scenic canals will lead you the the famous Ushaka World. You will be enthralled with the exciting activities that are offered here including Ushaka Sea World Aquarium, Ushaka Wet ‘n Wild Waterpark , Ushaka kids world playpark, Chimp and Zee adventure obstacle climbing and Ushaka Village mall.
  • Gondola rides, boat rides and pedal boats are offered on the canal giving you the South African -Venice experience right here on your doorstep.
  • Access to restaurants and halaal food in the Ushaka village walk. Millky Lane, Nadias Curry Cafe, Gorimas spices are halaal. Steers at the Engen garage is also halaal
  • Rickshaw Rides on the promenade.

  • Diving and Snorkeling at the harbor wall and at Vetch’s peer is mesmerizing. Abundant fish species with gorgeous corals all a short walk from the apartment.

A two Bedroom, two bathroom Apartment with a huge balcony that offers stunning views of the canal and the harbour. Two undercover parking bays are available for guests to use. The apartment is equipped with a state of the art entrance security system that records any person entering the front door for your security.

2nd Bedroom

Second bedroom with two single beds and glass sliding doors that open up onto the balcony. Built in cupboards and a safe to store valuables complete the room.

Open plan Lounge/Dining room & Kitchen

Spacious Open plan lounge area that opens up onto the balcony.

Kitchen is complete with Granite counter tops and fully equipped with appliances, crockery and cutlery to make you feel at home.

Please note that during peak periods, the unit can only be booked as combos of Mon- Fri(midweek-4 nights) or Fri-Mon(weekend-3 nights)

  • Above rates based on 4 adults and 2 children under 12 Surcharge for extra persons will apply.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Please note that a minimum two night stay is required to confirm each booking. Peak season bookings will be grouped as midweek- Monday to Friday or weekend Friday – Monday
  • A once off service/admin Charge of R600 will be levied for each booking.
  • Daily Servicing of the apartment is optional and can be arranged at an extra fee of R320 p/d for basic cleanup and R600 p/d for a cleanup including change of linen.
  • A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 will be required upon booking and will be refunded within 48 hours of check-out upon inventory confirmation from cleaning staff.
  • Full payment required within 24 hours of making booking to avoid reservation lapse.

Directions

From Johannesburg when entering durban Follow the N3 City all the way into the city centre at end of highway. Immediately turn right into Dr Yusuf Dadoo Str. Continue straight until you come to the Harbour where you will turn left into Margeret Mncadi Ave. Follow this road which runs alongside the harbour. Enjoy the harbour views. Once passed the harbour turn right into Shepstone Road. The harbour will still be on the right hand side. Follow this road all the way until it becomes Mahatma Gandhi Road. Continue on this road as it enters the point waterfront area. The road will reach a small circle where there is an entrance to the Transnet port on the right hand side. The road will bend to the left, continue on this road until the end of the road where there is a circle. Turn left here into Signal or Canal Quay Road(new name). This road will lead straight into the car park of the Quays building.

  1. It was my family and myself who stayed at the Serene Quays, This was such a beautiful place.

    Absolutely clean, stunning views, and the set up was definitely up to my standards as I stay in many accommodations around Durban, this by far was the best for me and my family! They enjoyed themselves

    The manager is polite and very friendly not forgetting absolutely professional Thank you Nasreen🙏

  2. Good day, my family and I enjoyed the stay at Serene Quays on the Canal. The securities were very friendly and helpful, check inn was easy. The view was one of the best we’ve ever seen in Durban. The apartment was very clean and tidy, we were impressed with the modern layout. Our kids enjoyed the free WiFi at night after a wonderful day at the beach. Everything was walking distance from where we stayed. Thank you very much to Nasreen and team for a lovely weekend.
